Habitat Family,

Due to the extremely high temperatures and high heat index facing us with no relief in sight for the rest of the summer, we will not begin construction on House #113 until September 16th.  We will plan for another build to begin in late October when temperatures should be much cooler for outside construction activities.  Material costs are also extremely high right now and should drop some by fall, helping to control the cost of the homes to our future homeowners.
If anyone is interested or knows someone who might be interested in volunteering to supervise our site and slab development, please have them contact me.  This would include lot preparation supervision and working with the contractor for construction of the foundation, sidewalks, & driveway for future homes.  Training and contacts will be provided for anyone willing to assume these duties.  If you would like more details or would like to discuss further, I will be happy to meet with you at your convenience.
Dedication of house #112 at 70 Fern Court, Lake Jackson, TX will be on Sunday, June 27th at 2:00 pm.  Please come see this new home and welcome the Paiz family as the newest member of our HFHSBC family.
