Dear Volunteers,

We wanted to let you know that there has been a last-minute change to the build schedule for Habitat House #120 in Angleton, Texas. The build has been pushed back by one week to allow the concrete slab to properly cure and to give time for the slab layout to be completed.

In addition, we will be canceling the build day on Saturday, May 17, 2025, to allow volunteers to attend the memorial service for long-time volunteer Jim Erskin in Lake Jackson. Jim was a dedicated member of our Habitat family, and we encourage everyone to keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as we begin work on House #120.

Here are the updates you need to know:

We hope that you’ll still be able to join us on the new dates. Even if you’re one of our regular volunteers, we kindly ask that everyone signs up using the updated form so we can plan meals and daily tasks more accurately.

Thank you for your flexibility, commitment, and continued support. We look forward to working with you soon.

Warm regards,

Melissa M. Alexander
